Hi, I’m Melissa Maines.

I live near Fort Worth, Texas, where I spend much of my day sitting behind a desk for my career as a Change Management Analyst in the information technology field.

I usually spend my downtime researching the details of my next adventure, learning a new creative skill, or simply hanging out with my husband, dog, and two cats.

Since I live in an urban metroplex, the last thing I want to do is visit another big city. So, when we travel somewhere new, we immediately head out to the small towns, the countryside, the coast, or wherever the people…aren’t.

I am an indoor girl most of the year, but when I travel, I want nothing more than to be surrounded by nature in all of its glory. Photography is the best way for me to hold on to that feeling.
